Uneven, But Has Some Of His Ve Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
This was Jay's second album and the album that cemented his status as a pop giant in Asia. This is a really terrific album. The only reason I say it is a bit uneven is because of a few of the songs sound too similar and don't show off the creativity and variety that Jay is famous for. Still, this album has some of the best songs Jay has ever recorded so far (notably 1, 3, 10).

Tracklist:
1. Love Before the Century (Ai Zai Xi Yuan Qian) - This song is AWESOME. It's the best song on this album and definitely one of the best song he's ever recorded. This is a really nice and addictive R&B song...lyrics are incredibly romantic, too.

2. Dad, I'm Back (Bo Wo Hui Lai Le) - rap/R&B hybrid. Jay sings about domestic abuse. Lyrics are haunting.

3. Simple Love (Jian Dan Ai) - LOVE LOVE LOVE this song. Also another one of my favorites and one of the best he's ever done. Really cute and uplifting song with an addictive and very memorable melody. Jay's voice sounds really good in this one, too.

4. Ninja (Ren Zhe) - Such a silly song, but tons of fun. Lots of rap fused with ancient-style music - it sounds great!

5. Can't Speak (Kai Bu Liao Kou) - gorgeous ballad
6. Shanghai 1943 - another ballad, sounds familiar to track five

7. Sorry (Dui Bu Qi) - fun R&B song
8. William's Castle (Wei Lian Gu Bao) - another R&B song, sounds like "Sorry." Neither of these songs, however, are as good as the first magical R&B song on this album, "Love Before the Century".

9. Nunchucks (Shuang Jie Gun) - also reminds me of "Ninja" and just as fun as that one, too. Really energetic song and nice fusion of the rap and ancient-style music again. Heavy on the rock...fun song to rock out to!

10. Silence (An Jing) - this is one of Jay's most popular songs...and for good reason. Beautiful ballad - the best ballad on this album and one of the best songs he's recorded.

3 Good songs Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
Unbelieveble! Jay actually sings really well live in these 3 songs. After watching his The One concert i didn't think much of his live singing skills, but these few songs show that he's improved. My only complaint is that this cd is rather expensive: there's only 3 songs and I'm not really bothered with the mvs.

Great! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Every song is composed by Jay himself. Such a talented singer won't disappoint you at all. As usual, almost every song in this albumn is nice enough to make you happy. Don't miss out this second albumn of Jay.

marginally dissapointing Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
I think this album slightly inferior to his first. Although the style is the same as the first, some of the songs here(track 1,4,6,7,8) are clearly fillers that cannot compare to favourites from the first album such as cute women, black humor, tornado etc. But tracks 2,3,5, 10 make up for the other five songs. Especially likeable are tracks 2 and 10.
Anyways, its difficult to upstage such an awsome debut album but this was an commendable effort.

Jay ruleX Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
Firstly, i have to say, Jay have done it very well compared to his debut album. Secondly, I will like to comment about his songs. His first song, *Ai Zai Xi Yuan Qian*, is a nice and soothing song that you can listen to if you are stressed. It will calm your nerves doen ( try it out :) ).The second song, *Ba Wo Hui Lai Le*, is not bad (although i am not sure of what is he saying - lol) Track 3, *Jian Dan Ai*, is a very cute song which captured my atention when I first listened to it. It is really Nice, so listen to it if you have not! Track 4, *Ren Zhe*, which is a VERY short song, is nice and lets say, alittle confusing? Haha... Track 5, *Kai Bu Liao Kou*, hmm... this is the BEST song of the album. Relaxing and clear, it is really a perfect jay song. TRack 6 - 8, *Shanghai 1943* *Dui Bu Qi* *Wei Lian Gu Bao* are all just average songs to boost up this album's quality. No comments further. Track 9, *Shuang Jie Kun*, is confusing and have jay chou screaming his lungs out during the chorus. Of course, I (again) find this lead song of the album nice. It is wonderful, but still have room for improvement. Last but not least, Track 10, *AnJIng*, is the MOST relaxing song of this album. If you have heard, most of the songs here are raps or fast-pace (except Track 1,3,5,6 and of course 10). This is the first Jay Chou song i heard, and honestly, I find it a little dull. Of course, overall, I find this album fabulous. But I still think he could have improved in Tracks 6 - 8. Good luck Jay for your next few albums! Hope they sell well.

Jay you are a complete beast Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
HI jay i am an english man called simon. i first heard this album in HK. it absolutely blew me away. So much variation in one album it cant be possible surely. All i can say is that it is a shame that other people around the world cant hear your stuff and understand your words, you are truly unique and as we say in england you are a ledgend. Keep up the good work. Maybe one day you could try some english stuff and appeal to a bigger audience. What ever you do good luck
Good day
Simon
