Final Fantasy XII International Zodiac Job System (Japan Version) PS2

Final Fantasy XII isn't over yet. The Ivalice Alliance collection is a subseries of Final Fantasy XII-related projects, bringing players back to the fantasy world of Ivalice. Thus far we've seen Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings for the Nintendo DS, as well as Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions for the PSP. PS2 owners aren't being ignored, and are receiving Final Fantasy XII International Zodiac Job System, an updated version of the blockbuster PS2 role-playing game.

Players who choose to revisit FFXII's epic adventure will get a variety of new goodies and play enhancements, starting with a new job system that separates the original game's license board - the checkered chart where players choose their level-up path - into 12 separate license boards, each corresponding to a different zodiac sign and job, e.g. red mage, monk, fighter, etc. Playing through the game with these new license boards adds new depth and strategy to game. In addition, tweaks have been made to the battle system. Summoned monsters and the frequent guest party members can now be manually controlled, and battles can be sped up using the L1 button. Fitting its status as an "international" version, the game now features the English voice dub, and has been reformatted to fit 16:9 widescreen monitors. Rounding things out are several new play modes, including a "New Game+" mode, allowing players to start the game a second time with some bonuses from the previous playthrough.
