Lawrence Cheng stars as Cheng Ming Pao, a radio disc jockey who has a chance meeting with a lovely ghost named Feng (Nonie Tao). Feng's death was a sordid affair, punctuated by the betrayal of love and a malicious murder. Cheng urges her to stay with him to tell her stories on the radio, and the show rapidly grows popular, attracting numerous listeners. But one of them may be the man responsible for Feng's death...and even her passing may not have severed their linked destinies! An offbeat and different film in a genre littered with similar entries, Finale in Blood demonstrates the talent and narrative genius of Fruit Chan within a more conventional film genre.
