Mysterious, Creepy, Horror Thriller Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
This supernatural movie gave me the chills and if I have to watch it again, I ensure I get some company and a big bowl of popcorns! The story, the dead heroine sleeping inside the coffin,and the creepy music behind the scenes were enough to make my hair stand on end!!! Ivy Ling Po looked scary at times yet kind on other times esp. the scenes with her husband, Chin Han. Even though they both acted well together, I could sense the loving sentiment between them. Again, Celestial had given this old film a magical touch!

In this movie, Ivy Ling Po's appearance as a "Long haired lady" isn't attractive and showed some signs of "ageing". She definitely appeared better as a male impersonator roles in huangmei operas. However, the entire movie is quite a thriller and worthy watching.

Creepy atmospheric swordplay thriller! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
This swordplay flick is a marvellous opportunity for Asian Movie Queen Ivy Ling Po to prove her versatility and display that she can play many types of roles apart from her famous male impersonator roles in huangmei operas. Indeed in this creepy atmospheric swordplay thriller, Ling Po gives Cheng Pei Pei and Shih Szu, the supposedly 2 queens of swordplay, a run for their money. Apart from her formidable swordplay skills, Ling Po frames her character with a complex personality, honed from years of acting experience. Buy this movie preferably on dvd as there are many night scenes. Celestial has again done a wonderful job of remastering this gem of a movie and I can finally lay my old video down to rest.
