May 4, 2007 UnexpectedI was surprised how much I really liked this TV series. The storeyline was smooth and consistant. I enjoyed the way it presented each main male's character's relationships, their past, and their relationship with the "girl". It was sad and moving at the same time. Well worth owning. May 4, 2007 WomanizerI had a hard time finishing this series. I appreciated his loyaties, however it was diminished by his womanizing. May 4, 2007 EnjoyableSince I never read Liang Yusheng's novel for this TV serires, I can't tell if it was horribly butchered as stated by reviewer Anonymous. Without another same TV series that was not butchered, it's not fair to criticize this TV series. Let it stand alone for viewing. May 4, 2007 Better than the firstViewing both The Return of the Condor Hero and the newer version, thumbs up, 5 stars for the newer version. Unlike Jack, I liked that there was more emotional outburst from the leading male star. It makes it that much more heart tugging.
