Free & Easy (Japan Version)

YesAsia Editorial Description

Hamasaki Ayumi's newest single for 2002! The Asian Princess of Music is back with yet another number 1 chart topper! This single, as you can see on the cover, displays Ayumi's powerful 'Joan of Arc' style of influence in the J-Pop world. Also, this single is used for a commercial featuring Ayumi herself! This song is featured on the 'Panasonic' MD Compo commercial, and the coupling track 'Naturally-Dolly Remix' is used on the 'Kose' cosmetics commercial! Ayumi is definitely unstoppable!!!

Ayu Fan Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10

10 stars are for the song Free and Easy only sadly. Because the remixes are not that good. But I think you should still buy this single anyway. The front cover is so pretty like always Ayu is. The lyrics for Free and Easy are amazing.

Beautiful. One of my favorites from her. Beautiful instrumentation at the beginning and I love the changes of tempo and styles in the song.

This is AYU's best work... Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
This is the one Ayu single/album that I can recommend 100%. This song represents the best of J-POP, with so many varied rhythms and moods in the song. Yes, Ayu's vocals are really strange and they're not anywhere near good, but in her songs, that weird voice sort of blends into the song seamlessly like a dominant instrument. This is the only Ayu song that I've heard so far that I can't criticize. Everything's near perfect. She sings with conviction that I rarely hear from her, and the instrumental's surprisingly good. Of course, she only writes the lyrics...
