　　美國當局獲得情報，為遏止「天使塵」蔓延，特派華籍幹探張德培（張堅庭）來港，喬裝買家與毒販交易，豈料折騰一輪，原來賣方竟是港警鄭天輝（鄭丹瑞）假扮，前功盡廢，兩人互相埋怨，毒品調查料總警司李如花（李美鳳）費盡唇舌，軟硬兼施，促二人合作緝拿毒販。鄭父富甲一方，當差只為逞勇；張則棄醫從戒，以天下為己任，兩人諸多齟齬，偏鄭父與張母一見如故，更添芥蒂。武術團台柱周曉紅（翁虹）醉心武學，早萌去國之意。

　　紅夜離港，卻於停車場遇險，原來陳勾結武術團團長，利用獅頭道具運毒來港，張、鄭正要一網打盡，不料為武術團團員阻撓，混亂中紅誤將毒品及製毒方程式拿去，張、鄭把團長團員帶署，卻發覺所得只是秘笈及田七粉，無法入罪，還被團長反告一狀……

　　Chang sets up an Angel's Dust scan but finds himself trapped by Hong Kong police led by Cheng. They are ordered to cooperate to crack the narcotize ring. They suspect rich Chen as the kingpin. This leads to a mainland acrobatic troupe. Cheng falls in love with the troupe's star, Hung. Police raid the troupe but finds nothing as Hung has unwittingly taken the narcotics. She wants to smuggle herself to America, only to find herself chased by police and traffickers……
