Two plus two equals Battle
While many of its ancestors are action games or RPG, "Full metal Alchemist - Dream Carniaval" stands out with its face-off fighting mode that has never been featured before in this series. What starts the story is a championship contest organized once every four year. Anyone coming up with a team of two can join and fight with any alchemy or weapons. A decent sum of money reward draws the participation of alchemists from everywhere.

Game Modes
A wide range of game modes is displayed in this game to offer you the best gaming experience ever.

SCENARIO MODE
The story goes from the Elric Brothers taking part in the championship contest competing with other teams in the mode of knockouts. A lot of short animated clips are here in this scenario mode to spice up the plot.

ARCADE MODE
Form your dream team by picking any of the two characters in the game. Keep your team in a memory card and you can then take it on tour challenging your friends.

TEAM MODE
Pick your dream team or the preset teams and take part in a battle that can let up to maximally four teams fighting against each other at a time.

BATTLE ROYAL MODE
It is the only one-on-one battle mode in the "Full metal Alchemist" game series. It supports up to four players who head for the ultimate championship by knocking out the other three.

GALLERY MODE
A series of cards and animated clips is here for you to enjoy on condition that you have fulfilled certain tasks.

Cooperation Counts!
The key of success in the two-on-two battle mode is teamwork. The two members in a team should be fully capitalized in the way that the vanguard is to attack while the rear guard is to defend. Players should grab the chance where your team can carry out a blistering attack together just like what the left image shows. Here Edward in the front captures the opponent by exercising his alchemy and it is time for Alfonse at the back to exercise another fatal attack and score.

You can turn anything into weapons!

Alchemy
As an alchemist, you can exchange your different levels of alchemy for the power to transform any objects into weapons at the "Bargain Exchange". For example, you can turn a stone into a pair of hands to grab your opponent or you can change a chain into cannons.

Every character is with equal strength in the general area.

Trait
In this world, every land and object has their individual quality. Utilize your alchemy wisely by choosing cleverly the locations and objects that work best with your own trait.

Work out your best moves according to where you are at!

Location
Locations, as mentioned above, are with their specific characteristic and where you are at plays a huge part in determining how powerful your weapons can be. Similar to the battle game "Fatal Fury", this game features a number of battlefields where there are multiple front lines. Here you can jump in and out of the battlefield and re-arrange your strategy. You can even take part in different front lines to ward off attacks.
