After the devastation caused by the Great Catastrophe, winged humanoids called Shadow Angels awakened from their 12,000 years of slumber, preying on humans for their life force. The only weapon able to stand up to the Shadow Angels is the Aquarion, which is formed by joining three Vector fighter planes.
