Horrible Quality!

This is merely a 2 DVD set, which means they pressed 45 episodes parted on 2 disc... First of all, they cut out the opening and the ending song sequence, so that more than 20 episodes could fit on a disc. Bootlegger sometimes do that and I hate it, but that's not the worst thing. The worst thing is, because there are more than 20 episodes on 1 disc, the video quality is complete horrible. The video is blurred, out of focus, shaky and the colors are faded. It is absolutely not possible to watch and enjoy it. The quality of the Pimgroup releases had been good or even outstanding, but this release is an insolence! And it is an insolence to demand almost 50 bucks for it. |

Awesome!

I have never seen this anime, but I have the manga collection. This is one of my favorite story and animation. I'm excited to watch this in anime, since I'm trying to get my american born daughter to learn some Chinese. This anime is in mandarin, and very cute! There are two dvds in this very nicely boxed set. Well worth the price. I plan on buying two more copies, one to send to my older sister, who introduced me to this story, and one to my younger sister, who grew up watching "Candy Candy" on TVB with me. |

I'm glad that Igarashi Yumiko is releasing this Animation series (Georgie DVD). However, May I know total how many Dvds are there for this Georgie Animation ? If have Candy Candy DVD Animation(Full sets) will be the best as since young I am waiting for it to be release till now. Why not releasing Candy Candy Animation Series,Igarashi Yumiko??I believes there's a lot of Candy Candy Animation fans waiting for it. |
