The actors were outstanding. The subject, excellent. I loved this series. If I could recommend one series do anyone, this would be it. You will not be sorry on buy both volumes.

This one started out very strong and mostly stayed that way. I felt it lost a little momentum toward the end and the ending itself felt a little anti-climactic. Not a bad ending, but it just didn't 'end with a bang', as the saying goes. Good performances with likeable characters and of course the villains, whom you just want to punch in the face each time they appear. I really got into this story, especially anticipating when the bad people got their 'just desserts'.

Wonderful, heartrenching drama Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
I really loved this drama. All 40 episodes of it! The cast was incredible, everyone did an incredible acting job and there were many layers to each character which made it interesting. It wasn't overly predictable like most, I was wondering who Sun-Woo was going to chose all along. I cried numerous times but not always out of sadness. The actress who played Sun-Woo was so incredible and captivating that she literally stole the show. I even really loved the side characters in this drama. The only reason I give it 9 out of 10 is the ending. This is just a personal preference. Truly, there isn't anything wrong with this ending at all but I love happy endings and this definitely did not have a traditional "happy ending". Still, had me glued to the television for 2 full volumes.

I saw this series about one year ago. It was a condensed version (50 chapters condensed into 34) and I thought it was too long then . May be something was missing in the condensed version but I could not get into the story real well except I felt sorry for the guy portrayed by So Ji Sub. He was a fun and sad guy. That is the only interesting part of the story for me. I recently tried to see this series again because So Ji Sub was like a complete different person in "Something happened in Bali" . I like him in this series better but this glass slipper story is not comparble to the Bali story. This story is too traditional and slow. I cannot fall in love with this story.

My Favorite So Far Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Let me tell ya...I have watched many dramas in the short time that I started and this is by far the best. Sure there are the usual drama elements but you just have to watch every drama with eyes of new. Superp acting. Especially the little girls in the earlier eps and the Grandma in the latter eps. This movie had it all from love, tears, action, etc. I was really amazed how they managed to cover so many of the charactors personal life not like other movies where they would just go in depth with just two main charactors but this one manage to do it with 3-4 charactors. I don't want to spoil any scenes so won't but rather just give a rating. Perfect 10 from me!

This drama is older but has a warm place in my heart. There is many scenes I have rewatched and still enjoy. This drama not only deals between the love between a man and woman but also between sisters. Its very sweet and the acting is great. Its SO good.

The box set itself is very nice and great quality. The inside is velvet. Enjoy, you will be blessed!

WOW, THIS DRAMA WAS ONE OF THE FIRST KOREAN DRAMA THAT I WATCH THAT I TRUELY LOVE!!! THIS DRAMA WAS THE ONE THAT GOT ME SO ADDICTED TO KOREAN DRAMA IN THE FIRST PLACE.. tHERE'S ALOT OF JEALOUSY, HATRED, LOVE AND SADNESS ALL IN ONE DRAMA!! ANYONE WHO HAVEN'T SEEN IT SHOULD WATCH IT BECAUSE YOU ARE MISSING OUT!!! THE ACTORS AND ACTRESS ARE REALLY AMAZING! BUT THE ENDING WASN'T SO GOOD THOUGH, BUT YOU'LL HAVE TO FIND OUT FOR YOURSELF!!!

Love this drama very much!!!!! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I really really like this drama....i can also say that it's the first drama that attracts me to watch Korean Dramas. i liked it abt 3 yrs ago. i like it now and i will also like it forever. In this drama, the cast that i like best is Ji Ho. i don't know why i really really like her. Most of the people like Hyun Joo n actors, esp. Ji Sup. I don't like any of them very much. I love ji ho's acting, smile n innocent face. i also first love her in this drama. Until now, i always try to find her latest news n her dramas everyday.
It's the best Korean drama. It's great. It makes u feel loving Korean dramas. I LOVE IT!!!

So Ji-Sub like always is wonderful..from being silly to serious, he is always worth watching.. The movie was sad but had it's happy moments. With it's turns and twists, it is worth buying.
