God, The Devil & Bob - The Complete Series (2 Disc Set) (US Version) DVD Region 1

The Jerry Garcia-like God posited by this irreverent animated comedy is dissatisfied with his pet project, humanity, and strikes a bargain with the devil to determine if it deserves redemption. God delivers an ultimatum: if one person can prove that humans aren't a total bust, he'll let them live, and he deigns to let the devil choose the representative. He singles out Bob Alman, a lazy slacker autoworker with a bad attitude, who is cowed into agreeing to his new role as savior. Never was a more unlikely character charged with the task of bettering the world and its inhabitants. Over the course of the show's 13 episodes, Bob's kids deal with the challenges--and hilarity--of having the Chosen One for a father, God forgets the Devil's birthday, and poor Bob, among other things, is locked up in a mental institution, leaving the Devil free to hit on his wife. Episodes include "Date from Hell," "Lonely at the Top," "There's Too Much Sex on TV," and "Bob Gets Involved."
