2006年2月からテレビ朝日系にて放映された、スーパー戦隊シリーズの第30作目。現代科学をはるかに超えた、強い力を持つ秘宝"プレシャス"を守り抜く秘密冒険チーム"轟轟戦隊ボウケンジャー"の活躍を描く。沈没船や秘境を舞台に、選ばれた5人の若者たちが、邪悪な盗賊集団との激しい戦いを繰り広げていく。
"ボウケンジャー"は、サージェス財団がプレシャスを見つけ出し、それを守り抜くために組織した秘密チーム。今回の彼らのミッションは、幻のゴードム文明の遺跡に眠る"ゴードムの心臓"の確保だった。リーダーのレッド・暁は、新入りのブラック・真墨と、イエロー・菜月を任務につかせるが、2人は遺跡に張り巡らされた罠にかかってしまう。そんななか、偶然に遺跡の封印がとけ、海底に隠れていた神殿が地上に持ち上がるのだが…。
