The story revolves around Huan (Ekin Cheng), the heir to the royal throne whose real identity is not even known to his stepfather, who later gets killed by the royal family's enemies. Huan starts practicing martial arts with a golden snake sword and a martial arts manual, which he discovers in a cave, and waiting for a chance to seek revenge. Ekin Cheng handles the role of the lively-turned-indifferent Huan very well. He pairs up with singer Angela Pang, who seldom takes part in TV series, to offer a refreshing piece of work. Together with Jacqueline Law, TVB’s top actresses at that time, the young and beautiful Miss Hong Kong Leung Pui Wu, and Wan Yeung Ming who delivers excellent performance as a villain, Golden Snake Sword promises to engage viewers into an extraordinary martial arts world!
