Brigitte Lin, Li Hsiu Ling, Ke Jun Hsiung, Lin Sui Yang, Weng Jia Ming - The casts are just so amazing! I am a big fan of Qiongyao's melodrama movies and it is nice to see all those of Qiongyao's leading actors and actresses play distinctive roles in a very different movie. Using the background of Shanghai's war against Japan, Brigitte and Hsiu Ling act as Chinese spies to oppose Japan secretly. They disguise as singer, waitress, harpist, party-lady, and so on. Of course a smart director (in this case Ting Shan Si) will use this opportunity to do "fashion-parade" for those two Chinese beauties. Indeed, they change outfit many times. With the addition of Pat Ha as the pretty villain lady, Flag Of Honour for sure will refresh your eyes! So...don't miss it ! |

A must for Brigitte Fan

This film was made after her Taiwanes days and before Peking Opera Blues and her HK days. Watching her holding a pistol, smoke and singing in a nightclub is real fun !! Remind me of Hollywood's Bette Davis's Bad Woman image but this is a very pretty and heroic one in Brigitte. |
