蘇菲生長在音樂家庭中，是個幸福快樂的女孩，個性積極沒有心眼。羅姍從小在蘇菲家長大，爸爸是蘇家的司機因為一次酒醉駕車而意外身亡，蘇菲的父母於是收養了羅姍，並且幫她改名為蘇珊，成為蘇菲的姊姊蘇珊。

蘇姍和蘇菲，還有從小一起長大的元方，原本一起就讀綠光森林中，因為搬家的關係，而轉入皇家史賓賽音樂學院就讀，一天，皇家史賓賽音樂學院創辦人老威廉的公子小威廉，從奧地利來到學院試聽課程，蘇菲將琴譜借給他，卻因此讓自己受罰，威廉為了救他，拉了蘇菲一起逃課，卻也一起在綠光森林裡迷路及看到傳說中的綠光，在綠光中，森林裡的老奶奶告訴威廉，長大之後，他會遇到一個他非常深愛的女孩子，他一定要相信她，否則，這個女孩將會為他失去一切，甚至是她的生命。不過，不管未來會如何，在威廉跟蘇菲的心中，都一直有個信念支持著他們，只要相信，就會看見幸福綠光！
