an average production but worth watching when comp

well, this is an average production though i must say this is much better than hero(the one by jet lee), crouching tiger hidden dragon and house of flying dagger(wat the heck were they thinking of when they filmed this?) the first thing that i like of this movie is the language and the music they used. v ancient and wuxia type. have to give them to credit for preserving the history. although it contains some illogical ideas (like the part where His Majesty was assasinated, there was only a few soldiers to protect him and he had to fight the assosinators all by himself. hey, was he the all mighty king?, the story wasn't as exaggerated as the current movies production. is it worth watching? if u can stand those current stupid productions i dun see y u would dislike this one, which i think is far better but still an average movie. if u have plenty of time, or fans of noel/ hawick lau, watch this. there's plenty of their scences as they are the main actors. if u dun have the time, watch something else. |
