1987年に結成され、インディーズ時代からアメリカ・ツアーを行うなど、海外でも活動してきたギターウルフ。1997年にメジャー1stアルバム「狼惑星」をリリース。その後も日本国内はもちろん、アメリカ、ブラジル、ヨーロッパなど世界中でツアーを行い、各地で高い評価を受けた。2005年3月にベースウルフ・Bliiyが急死。9月に新ベー視すと・U.G（ユージ）が加入し活動を再開したが、2007年9月からセイジ（vo, g）の怪我のために再び活動を休止した。そして2009年4月4日、日比谷野外音楽堂ライブで復活を果たし、多くのファンを熱狂させた。
