Luna Sea's guitarist Inoran has given a big helping hand to Hong Kong indie band Ever in their mission to spread happiness! Formed in 2000 with Ka Ho (vocal/guitar), KK (bass), and To (guitar), Ever were known for their brand of "happy rock", which caught the ears of Beyond's drummer Yip Sai Wing who then took the emerging band under his wing. After the debut album Ever One last year, Ever are determined to take their game up a level with their latest EP Happiness is... released August 2009. Featuring Inoran on the arrangements, the main track "Destined Path" contemplates on the meaning of life. The summer anthem "Comic Fans" is the theme song for the Heartbeat Youth Music Festival at this year's ACGHK. Other cuts on the EP are "Goodbye Fireflies", "Mr. Sunshine", "Day After Day", and What You Want But Not What You Need.
