It's a wonderful movie to watch! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
After I watched this moive last night, I couldn't help crying..... So toching, very good movie. Like someone said before, it's not a gay moive, it's talking about love. I love both actors, leslie and tony, thanks.

Leslie, you will always be my everlasting star......I miss you so much.

Very good! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I really like this movie! Artistic! Even though there're some people can't accept about homosexual movies but think about it, they are a men couple. The way that they treat each other in this story/movie is special... I mean the way that Wong Ka Wei wants to describe a homosexual couple is just like describe the couples today..... I really like the black and white scenes... It gives me a feeling of "Casablanca".

heartbreaking Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
each of Wong's works has its own character, its own themes. but Happy Together is by far one of his most heart breaking films. the cinematography is beautiful, the actors excellent. Leung deserves his best actor award as the troubled, disturbed Fai, stoic throughout all the shit he faces. Cheung plays the temperamental, selfish partner you love to hate. these 2 actors play off each other so succintly, yet with so much feel that one can't help but be moved. Wong has yet again produced a show that is subtle and unpretentious.

Subtle Brilliance! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Wong Kar-Wai has done it again! This time, exploring the intricacies and tragedies of a gay relationship that has gone wrong, Wong Kar- Wai, with the powerful and sensitive performance of two of HK's top actors, bring to life all the sadness, despair, longing, and unhappiness of a doomed relationship struggling to be saved. This is made possible by Wong Kar-Wai's stunning visuals, creative camera shots, and sensitive story -telling. Cheung's acting is quiet, subtle, sensitive, and brilliant. If you are looking for a film that explores what it truly means ot be happy in a relationship or out of it, then this is the film for you. Watch it and be enlightened. If you are looking for sex and nudity, go rent a porno film. Wong Kar-Wai is a filmmaker and an artisti, not a smut purveyor.

A Gay Day-Time Soap Opera Customer Review Rated Bad 1 - 1 out of 10
This movie is almost like a documentary of two gay guys in Argentina. This box office poison has no dramatic moment; it is also slow pace and boring.

Boring like Hell Customer Review Rated Bad 2 - 2 out of 10
I am not against homosexuality as it is really a personal perference more than anything else. However this movie is boring as well, comparing with other U.S. good movies for similar issues like "Chasing Amy", etc. Yes, it is a courageous film especially from Far East. But I can't give this movie a high rating because of it tackles a controversal subject. This movie is NOT a documentry. The pace of this movie is very slow and it has little entertainment value.
