Also a reality-based medical drama, Healing Hands II continues to reveal the-life tensions in emergency rooms and the challenges - both personal and professional - faced by a group of hospital workers. An oncologist (Lawrence Ng) hopes his girlfriend (Ada Choi) in coma will wake up one day, but this affectionate love for her has attracted the admiration of a young female doctor (Yoyo Mong). His doctor friend who works in the emergency room, a womanizer in Healing Hands Part I, finally settles down with his lawyer girlfriend, but his new assistant (Kit Chan) may be threatening their stable relationships...

杏林先鋒再創生命奇蹟，
卻無法撫平感情上的創傷。

　　自唐姿禮﹝蔡少芬﹞昏迷後，程至美﹝吳啟華﹞一直在病床守候。至美對感情的執著深深吸引著同院另一名醫生何心妍﹝蒙嘉慧﹞。心妍是富家女，跟同樣出身豪門的風流醫生林敏智﹝陳豪﹞本是戀人，但至美的出現使她認識到什麼才是細水長流的愛情。

　　江滿月愛滋病發辭世，其姊新月﹝陳慧珊﹞大受打擊，黎國柱﹝林保怡﹞從旁安慰，二人情苗得以滋長。正當大家都以為他倆能開花結果之際，國柱又再受考驗。他和助手阮朗平﹝陳潔儀﹞日夕相對，二人最終經不起誘惑，背著新月發展另一段感情。後來朗平對新月感萬分歉疚，寧願獨自離開香港。不久，遠方傳來朗平懷孕的消息，國柱知道後即推測自己就是孩子的父親，情急下向新月自揭偷情真相。

至美和國柱這兩位大國師，在醫學上屢創奇蹟，面對感情時卻感到無能為力……
