One of TVB's most successful drama series, popular medical drama Healing Hands first aired in 1998 to high ratings and praise. Applying the Files of Justice formula to the medical profession, the series attracted viewers with its all-star ensemble cast and engaging stories about the life, work, and romance of the doctors and nurses at a hospital. Bolstered by the success of the original drama, Healing Hands returned for second and third seasons in 2000 and 2005. Reprising their memorable roles, mainstays Lawrence Ng and Bowie Lam hold fort in Healing Hands III, along with new joiners Gigi Lai, Bernice Liu, and Melissa Ng and Season 2 returners Moses Chan, Maggie Siu, and Raymond Cho. The drama's extended cast includes Michael Tong, Fiona Yuen, Halina Tam, Belinda Hamnet, Claire Yiu, and Sam Chan.

In the spring of 2004, Hong Kong has finally walked out of the shadow of SARS, but neurosurgeon Paul (Lawrence Ng) and ER doctor Henry (Bowie Lam) have more than enough medical emergencies and romantic problems of their own to deal with. Paul falls into despair when he receives news of the death of his ex-girlfriend (Yoyo Mung), but forensics doctor Frances (Gigi Lai) helps him get through the tough times. After calling it quits with Annie (Flora Chan), Henry gets caught in a love triangle between orthopedist Sarah (Melissa Ng) and intern Betsy (Bernice Liu). Still struggling for closure after SARS, heart surgeon MC (Moses Chan) enters the lowest point of his life, but manages to recover thanks to Sarah's support. His entry, however, adds an extra corner to Henry, Sarah, and Betsy's already confused relationships.

Hong Kong finally overcomes th SARS outbreak in spring 2004. After the outbreak, will the future be brighter for neurosurgeon CHING CHI MEI, PAUL (NG KAI WAH. LAWRENCE), A & E consultant LAI KWOK CHU, HENRY (LAM, BOWIN) and other medical staff?

PAUL collapses after receiving the death news of his girlfriend, who lives abroad, Forensic Pathologist SHUM NGA CHING, FRANCES (LAI CHI, GIG) accompanies him. HENRY ends his love affair with KONG SUN YUET. However, he soon falls into a love triangle with orthopaedist IP TO, SARAH (NG MEI HENG, MELISSA) and TSANG SUK KEI, BETSY (LIU BERNICE JAN), who is a houseman. Cardiac surgeon LAM MAN CHI, MC (CHAN HO, MOSES), who is badly affected by SARS sequelas, is experiencing his trough in live. Luckily, SARAH encourages him constantly. O&G consultant MAN ON SANG, ANSON (SHIU MEI KI, MAGGIE) and A&E doctor HEUNG CHUNG YAN, CHRIS (CHO WING LIM, RAYMOND) eventually overcome all the obstacles and get married.
