　　阿玲與家人携巨金投親，不料途中遇海盜打劫沉船而喪生，並變成了孤魂野鬼。少女阿金開罪了阿玲，把阿玲鎮於河底，以示懲戒。阿金父母請來居士以法術救出阿金，阿玲利用黃金買通邪派巫師馬安對付居士。馬安法力不濟，往求師父楊澤霖報仇。居士為了不讓阿玲利用金錢找人與他作對，決取走黃金。楊作法迷住居士，將人及黃金帶走，把居士押於地牢。楊為了怕阿玲找上門，決使她永不能轉世，阿玲先下手為強，先救出居士，後又將黃金做善事，居士與楊大鬥法，最後居士使出菩薩咒，使楊消失在他的法力下。
