This series that Nicky Wu play is soooo boring and slow. I would not recommend anyone buying it. The DVDs that I bought is so low in quality that it will not even work in my DVD player. I was so mad...hope the people that buys this movie don't suffer like i did...
What's worst is that I can't even exchange my set for one that can play on a DVD player... WHAT A BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!!! I would understand, if it was VCDs but these are DVD's that I bought...
This is the first time that I bought items from yesasia and it will surely be the last.

This series is ideal for insomniacs! Could put anything to sleep! Although the scenary were amazing, the story line was very sloooow.

this was a good movie. I liked the setting and scenery. very different & i like that. this is the kind of role nicky wu should always be playing. theresa lee is great!

a nicky wu show of a different sort Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
set in a totally different time period from that that i have seen in nicky's other series, this series gives the viewer a totally different feel..though not altogether because the whole fight to between the pugilist sects still remains and remains confusing too..
initially i was hesistant about whether i shd watch this series cos it didnt look as exciting or colourful as the other nicky's series ive watched..but i guess i decided to try it out and found myself immersed in the unlikely beauty of the desert.
Theresa Lee plays Nicky's main love interest and between them they have an intriguing relationship. As always Nicky's the eye candy and a whole host of other girls fall for him.
Fight scenes were well cheorographed though i wished the director didnt keep alowing them down.
Overall, I enjoyed this very much and would recommend those who still love wuxia stories but are tired of the typical setting and background.

I THINK THIS DRAMA IS GREAT AND I THINK EVERYBODY SHOULD WATCH IT. THIS DRAMA NEED TO BE WATCH CAREFULLY TO UNDERSTANG ITS STORY. ANYWAZ ITS COOL SPECIALLY NICKY WU.
