Director Kwon Il Soon's full-length film debut Hidden Floor is the second story featured in One Day Suddenly, a four-part film series conceived initially by horror film regular Ahn Byung Ki (Apartment, The Phone). Kwon, whose 2001 short film Hide And Seek was invited to compete in the short film section at the 58th Venice International Film Festival, tells a haunting story surrounding a chain of frightening, hair-raising episodes that take place in a little studio apartment. The young director was heard joking that he had to change the film's setting from an apartment complex to a studio building at the last minute thanks to director Ahn Byung Ki's 2006 horror flick Apartment, which was released prior to the production of this film. Adapted from Yoo Il Han's popular short fiction, this bone chiller is filled with spooky, disturbing visual scares, promising to bring back the excitement of the horror genre.

After moving to a studio apartment with her young daughter Ju Hee (Kim Yoo Jung, All For Love), single mom Min Young (Kim Suh Hyung, Black House) starts noticing strange events. Her neighbors complain of weird creepy noise from above, and her daughter starts acting unusual. Then a series of unexplainable deaths begin to unfold, leaving Min Young with no choice but to investigate the matters herself.
