Asami Konnos first photobook was very sweet indeed but the transformation from girl to woman is clear in this one and captures that brief period of transition in every womans life beautifully. The overall ambinece of the photos is very well balanced and maintains a sophistacted yet sweet potrail of Asami Konno. (1)Our Price: US$45.99Usually ships within 7 - 14 daysRelated promotions:November 27, 2005 Sexy or Cute ?For fans of Rika Ishikawa i would say this is a must it really shows how beautiful she really is, however for fans of Sayumi you may being disapointed as the style of the photobook is clearly catering to Rika Ishikawa kind of style and looks, although to be fair Sayumi still looks great just dont expect a cuteness extravaganza. Sayumi is one of my fav members and im still not disapointed. Hopefully she will get a solo photobook tailored more to her image which im sure the majority would agree that can only be a good thing.
The photobook comes with a making of DvD which initself is worth owning for either of them the best part (IMO) is when the both take turns trying to be cute for the camera as you would expect this is not a problem for Sayumi however it seems somewhat forced by Rika who appears that she is trying to hard and cant quite pull it off. The only thing i can say (and this also applies to Konkons, Reina Tanakas and Eri Kameis latest photobooks) that the Dvds are alittle short and could of easily been alot longer. But still you rarely get stuff like this with idol photobooks so its all still a bonus as far as im concerned.
Dont get me wrong although i said this style is more suited to Rika than Sayumi, Sayumi still looks fantastic and just demonstrates how good a photobook purely devoted to her style would be.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This)
