EXCELLENT ALBUM
|
This album came out two years ago, and i've recently listened to it again because of his new LEON DAWN album, and it is still so GOOD!! Homework's main songs show exactly how nice Leon can sing!! This is a must own cd!!! |

Average
| I have been a long (but not an intense) fan of Leon. This album is good overall, especially if you are a Leon fan. However, I agree with others that they are not on par with his other works in the past. Particularly I did not like Track 4, Best If You Go. I guess I have conflicting opinons with other people, but it just seems his voice is one or two octaves too high. Just doesnt sound right, especially being a long time listener. Just hope his next album is better. |

great
| of course, leon lai has delivered a great cd once again. I think many people will be trying to bring the rating of this cd down by givin ...half a star every time they review? Can't happen, especially when about 255 out of about 163 reviews gave 5/5 stars. The music is probably the highest quality out of all the hk albums recently, and his talent is shown in the variety of songs showing different moods, atmospheres, and styles. This album shows off what he is capable of doing, and shows that he remains more talented than 90% of hk's celebrities. The other 10% are equal to him. |

| fistly, his singing hasnt improved and its totally changed. his old songs were better too. i think he relies on Mark Lui too much. he's too lazy now. wish the old leon came back. the track 6 is damn messed up |

After 5 months of non stop listening...
|
i come back and i can still be impressed by this cd. Mark Lui and Leon truly created a wonderful album, and i am sure that the fans gladly waited so many months for his new album (though not new anymore). Track 1: You need to learn to deceive yourself: 9/10: although the background music is kind of bare, they seem perfect and leon's voice matches the atmosphere. Track 2: BABA: 9/10: We all know this song, and it is one of the only loud songs on the album. Here he and a girl sing a song that reminds people of older songs, but has a new feel to it. very unique Track 3: slap of perfume print?: 8/10: although the chorus is imperfect, the other parts of this songs are njoyable track 4: Don't Think Weirdly: 10/10: One of my favorite songs on this album. Everything on this is perfect and it is the type of song that you would play over and over. track 5: It would be the best if you go:10/10: one of his best songs ever, sets the perfect mood and the high pitch shows off his talent track6: "three" theme song: 10/10: very simple song, but after a while you'll see how beautiful it is track 7: no idea what title is: 9/10: this is a simple yet complicated song that grows on you. track 8: right before your eyes?: 9/10:A mandarine song which many people seem to like. I don't see what's special about it though. sounds great but it doesn't seem hip-hopish as people say it is track9: Cheese Person: 10/10: a great faster song that Leon does for this album; it has complicated yet meaningful lyrics and it simply sounds good track 10: don't be shy: 9/10: This sounds really good and smooth, you'll just have to hear it to understand. track 11: BABA mandarine |

The BEST Leon Lai CD from his entire music career!
| This is the best Leon Lai CD from his entire music career! After buying Leon's Red Shoes CD, I had vowed to not buy anymore of his CDs because I wasn't sure if I was his fan anymore. I have been his fan since his first CD "Leon" which debuted in 1990. I've collected all his CDs up to the Red Shoes, and also have collected his movie vcds. But I kept seeing this Homework CD on the top seller list nearly every week since its release. I kept looking at the song list. I was not going to buy it, but after reading so many praises on it. I got curious about it. The more I looked at the CD and the song list, and the magazine articles and photos of him making the music videos, I finally gave in and decided to buy it. And I am so happy that it wasn't sold out. I hurried and bought one and am totally ecstatic to discover that this is much different from his other albums. The music style is new and fresh. And Leon's singing is at its best. I don't know how Leon will top this CD in the future. But thanks to this CD, I am still Leon's fan. |
