My favorite K-drama of all time Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
This was my very first korean drama, so I might be a bit bias, hehehe. I absolutely love Hotelier. I've watched it about 5 times and it gets better every time I watch it. All the actors are great, especially Bae Yong Joon & Kim Seung Woo. This drama is very funny and very touching at the same time. I love the chemistry between Bae Yong Joon & Song Yoon Ah. And even though I love Song Hye Kyo; her performance was a bit flat in this drama. I much prefer her performance in Full House. The soundtrack is absolutely beautiful. I definitely recommend this drama to everyone.

English subtitles, please advise!!! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
This is directed to anyone who owns this 2003/US English subtitles version of HOTELIER, which I absolutely love and definitely want to own.
I'm thinking about purchasing it, and I would appreciate your opinion/recommendation on the subtitles. I recently borrowed a HOTELIER DVD set with such poor English subtitles, that in many places, it made it extremely hard to follow the plot/lines. Very frustrating. Nothing like WINTER SONATA, which I bought, and the subtitles are superb! I would very much appreciate your help so I can make a good purchase decision.

After a very slow start, the action and suspense picked up and the acting outstanding. I recommend this series for everyone.

First Love Customer Review Rated Bad 7 - 7 out of 10
This is the K-Drama that started my addiction.(coincidentally it is also the first one Tom Larsen of YA Entertainment acquired). An involved story with lots of characters and of course a few 'shockers' in the storyline. Although this one has the star-power of 'Yon-sama' and Song Hye-Kyo, I think 'Hotelier' is about an ensemble cast, where everyone's lives are very much interrelated. Serious 'cliffhangers'; each episode will keep you guessing (and not being able to wait to find out) till the very end.

NOT TO MENTION, THIS PARTICULAR SERIES MOVES AT A VERY GOOD PACE AND IT DOESN'T DRAG ON AND ON AND ON. I LOVE BAE YOUNG JOON AND YOON AH SONG. KIM SEUNG WOO IS SUCH A GENTLEMAN AND THE CREW AT THE SEOUL HOTEL WERE ABSOLUTELY TERRIC.:-):-)

Becoz of Bae only..... Customer Review Rated Bad 2 - 2 out of 10
I've bought this series because Bae Yong Jun was in it....have been searching all his series since I've read somewhere from the net that he is consider as one of Korea's hottest actor...have read also that he is the highest paid income tax payer last year (though he hasn't made any series last year?), that has got me so curious about him....why is he that famous??....have first watch his famous Winter Sonata....must admit that I wasn't that hooked up like so many others (heard they were millions of them)... that is I wasn't hooked up on the story of WS but been definitely hooked up by Bae Yong Jun.....so I got Hotelier....but been dissapointed to find out that Song Hye Kyo was not his love interest in it....he's been paired up with another actress but can't really feel the chemistry between them....it's the first time for me to do fastforwarding coz I find some of the episodes a bit boring....so I just fastforward it to the scenes where there is Bae coz that's the only time I think where this series has a 'story' to tell....but still, if you're a Bae fan you shouldn't miss this one, his acting is still good on this one PLUS the fact that you'll get a glimpse of his 'to-die-for' body.....he's really got a great body, better than Rain I think!....maybe if they have paired Song Hye Kyo to Bae, we will 'feel' more from this series???.....

BYJ fan don't get this.. Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
I was very disappointed to find out that song hye kyo and bae yong joon would not be the main lovers. I must admit that i am not a huge song yoon ah, she's not very pretty. It you're a BYJ fan, you'll be so disappointed to watch this drama, because he'll be wasting his time to chase the unattractive song yoon ah. While Song hye kyo falls in love with the other guy, and it's just unrequited love; the whole drama is just a mess.

Deciding to watch this old korean show is simply one of the best decisions. The cast were essentially all terrifiic. Though it took alittle while to accept the huge diffence between the main couple's age, still it eventually caught on. The story itself was constant action. Its a drama fitted for all ages and interest. Simply one of the best...

I never like drama movies, after watching this one I was hooked to Bae Yong Yoon. This is the best movie I have ever watched. He is so good looking. I have watched this movie 5 times. Like most Bae fan I love his movie especailly this one. He and Song Yun Ah played prefect couple. I like to see more of them in the near future.
