Hwayobi Mini Album - This is Love

Hwayobi returns with her latest mini album. In 2008 the R&B singer received an additional boost through her collaboration with Fly To The Sky member Fany in the TV program We Got Married. Now she is back on the music scene presenting six tracks including her self-penned "One Half" (Track 3), which revolves around a desperate woman in love. Another highlight of this release is "Let's Fall in Love" (Track 2), a collaboration song that features Hareem on harmonica and rap by hip-hop group Supreme Team. Hwayobi's mini album is rounded off with This Is Love for which she collaborated with international producer Gary Haase (Celine Dion, Jessica Simpson, N Sync).

‘개똥이’ 화요비, 사랑을 노래하다!

지난 한해 ‘개똥이’로 많은 사랑을 받았던 화요비가 가수 본연의 모습으로 돌아왔다.
타이틀곡 ‘반쪽’은 이미 다른 사랑이 있는 사람을 사랑하게 된 여자의 복잡한 마음을 그려낸 곡으로 ‘윤도현-사랑했나봐’, ‘이승철-긴 하루’ 등의 작곡가 전해성의 중독성 있는 멜로디에 화요비가 직접 노랫말을 쓰고, Fractal(프렉탈)의 편곡이 더해져 트렌디한 옷을 입었다. 더불어 화요비 본연의 모습을 엿볼 수 있는 어쿠스틱 버전이 포함돼 같은 곡 다른 느낌의 진수를 느낄 수 있다.

‘우리 사랑해요’는 <우리 결혼했어요> 속 화요비의 모습을 잘 표현한 곡으로, 인기 작곡가 김도훈의 곡과 유명 작사가 윤사라의 가사 말에 하림의 하모니카 연주와 힙합그룹 슈프림팀의 피쳐링이 화요비의 친구가 되어줘 신나면서도 예쁜 사랑의 노래로 완성 되었다.

‘This is Love’는 셀린디온(Celine Dion), 제시카 심슨(Jessica Simpson), 엔 씽크(N Sync) 등과 작업한 세계적인 프로듀서 ‘게리 하스(Gary Haase)’의 참여로 화요비가 세계적인 아티스트로 발돋움할 수 있는 발판을 마련해주었다. 이 곡은 감미로운 멜로디에 ‘사랑이에요’라는 예쁜 영어 노랫말이 화요비의 달콤한 보컬과 어우러져 사랑스러운 곡으로 태어났다.
