This is romance! Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
Call me a sentimental softie, but I loved this charming romance. Lim Chang Jung plays a traffic cop who is smitten by a lovely young acting student (played by Ko So Young). As their romance grows, he begins to dream that he may have a future with the girl of his dreams. However, she tells him that she is leaving to study overseas.

When next we meet our hero he is achieving his lifelong career hope of becoming a professional baseball umpire. He learns that the girl of his dreams now has become the girl of Korea's dreams, as she has become the leading actress in a popular TV drama. Although he continues to yearn for her, the newspapers all say that she is dating a millionaire businessman. Can these two people on such different paths possibly be reunited?

Ko So Young is irresistible as our beautiful romantic heroine and Lim Chang Jung makes a wonderfully earnest suitor. "If the Sun Rises in the West" will appeal to young and old, male and female, indeed, to anyone with a beating heart. I recommend it.
