Very catchy.
| If you've heard any of Minmi's songs, then you know that she's unique. This album has quite a few good songs. I LOVE Step, Ai no mi, Another World, Put a spell on U, Imagine, Independent Woman, etc. I've never heard a japanese artist sound so hip-hop/reggae before. It's great! |

Underrated excellence
| If you want pure R&B Minmi is a great artist to choose. Her vocals are great and her songs have a real American flavour ~~ some Jamaican grooves are thrown in to this ~~ quite apparent in her single from this album 'Imagine'. The composition of these songs are excellent ~~ Minmi is definately worth looking into for any R&B fan. |

| I will gladly GIVE this CD away to any of my friends who might actually like it. Her voice is not clear and she tries to do too much. I am sorry I bought this CD and would never buy another disk by her. I just hate everything about it...especially the rap at the beginning. |

Nippon Reggae Princess
| I was in Kyoto one day. Hangin out at the train station (so typical of group tourists and i went to the mall and found myself in a music store. They had Minmi's "Step" video playing and i was like, "Wow!" She had me captivated. I was gonna buy the cd right then and there, but i was like, "Nall, i've only heard one song." So, the store was promoting the album and i ended up seein glike 2 other vids and damn i had to get it. I didn't care about anything else but getting that album. The only thing that's wrong is this girl's English...if you kmow you can't say it, don't try it girl. oh yea!! Is she mixed or something? |
