Liu Yung), star of the beloved Emperor Chien Lung comedy series and a favorite co-star of the legendary Bruce Lee, takes the lead role in Cheng's 1979 Shaw Brothers production, Invincible Enforcer! In this intense, uncompromising film, Lau plays a down on his luck youngster who finds himself in a horrible legal situation. Apparently the boy got on the bad side of a shady police detective, a fact which immediately results in the kid being tossed into prison on bogus charges. Once he is finally let out of jail, Anthony Lau's character tries to start his life over once more, but there's one lingering problem that awaits him: the cops won't stop harassing him! With the police treating him like a common criminal at every turn and seemingly no other option left to him, the young man does the one thing that he's been avoiding all this time - he becomes a real crook! Featuring appearances by Fen Ni (from Mr. Funnybone Strikes Again, Pan Ping Chang (from Dirty Ho and Crippled Avengers), Lin Hui Huang, and Chan Koon Tai (from The Teahouse and Big Brother Cheng), this late seventies action flick delivers a gritty look at both sides of the law.
