Maggie cheung , acting out her own role as one of the greatest stars of Asian cinemas , comes to Paris portray Irma Vep (the character created by Musidora ) in a remake of the famous silent movie series ‘‘Vampires’’ directed by Louis Feuillade between 1915 and 1916.
Alone in Paris , without a word of French , Maggie communicates best she can with those around her. Among whom the director , Rene Vidal , who sees her as the only actress capable of playing a modern Irma Vep , in the world of Catwoman.
Amidst the fog of jetlag , and trying to find a way through the daily life of shooting , Maggie makes an effort to understand the real nature of the demands being made on her.
