Ivy's magic groove!
After a preparation period of no less than 4 years, K-pop has hope for another promising artist as Ivy lands her explosive debut LP. Announced by her record label more than half a year ago through effective media coverage, the newcomer's highly anticipated album finally hits the music shelves. Backed up by Park Jin Young, Bang Si Hyuk, Kim Do Hun, Bobby Kim, and Jo Young Su among other top notch producers, Ivy incorporated various music genres including dance, hip hop, reggae as well as jazz into her captivating tunes. The star also spared no efforts to acquire super dancing skills with some very valuable assistance by dancing expert Fatima Robinson that also provided mega star Christina Aguilera with some very useful lessons. Another fact that no doubt added spice to the sound of Ivy's first 15 track LP was that all recording took place in a recording studio formerly serving famous artists including Destiny's Child, Brandy, and Monica. Offering such absorbing songs like Dawn Dawn Dawn, Poison Ivy, and "Prayer" (track 10), music lovers are advised to reach out for Ivy's rhythmic joy ride!

| This cd is outstanding. I agree with the other reviewers - this cd is worth the money! i enjoyed every track... it was so fresh and different. her vocals are very strong as well. she also has perfect english! beautiful voice... this cd is on constant rotation in my car! i can't wait til her 2nd album already! |

Just to add on to the support, "My Sweet and Free Day" is easily the best album of 2005. Nothing compares with Ivy's first album which is just a masterpiece. It certainly knocked down a whole lot of 'favorite albums' of mine to the backseat. Simply amazing. |

This CD is awesome!!! Ivy has great vocal skills that soothes your mind and makes you want to listen to her songs over and over again. This whole CD was excellent overall....but my facvorite songs are (Track 3 Poison Ivy) (Track 5 I Must Be A Fool) (Track 6 Do It) (Track 7 A-HA!) (Track 11 Prayer) & (Track 13 Old Bike). I highly recommend this album...so hurry and get your hands on this before they run out! Enjoy |

This is one of the best k-pop album ever! Definitely worth every single cent I paid for. I really cannot believe the powerful vocal that Ivy possesses. Every single track on this album is great! She is giving Rain and Boa a run for their money! Can't wait for the DVD! |

| Wow...Just when I was thinking that KPop was starting to lack in new flavor Ivy hits us with her first CD. This Cd is simply awesome with tracks like A-Ha and Poison Ivy that have awesome beats and an amazing flow. Then there are even more unique tracks like dawn dawn dawn and track 1. This is a definate buy for any type of KPop fan because it incorporates a little of everything from rap, dance, ballads and a little rock-feeling tracks. THIS IS A MUST BUY!!! |
