October 17, 2006 Surprisingly good drama!!!!!!!I just finished watching this drama and I must say I was pleasantly surprised by how good this dram was. The director took a chance in choosing 4 relatively new faces to be the leads of this highly anticipated drama (because of the success of his previous works Autumn in my Heart and Winter Sonata) and the leads ALL did an amazing job in playing their characters. I like the main actor and actress, although plain and not too overly good-looking, they have chemistry together and the scenes between them are very sweet. The main actor has a sad look and is able to express his emotions so effectively which is very touching. The actress has a pretty smile that is very sweet. They both can cry so well (so sad....) And of course, the ever-so-handsome Henry (Phillip), he's just charming from beginning to end! I like the storyline and the scenery too! And ths music! SOOO good! Overall I like this drama more than the Autumn and Winter series (I haven't seen Summer Scent) and would definitely recommend this drama!!!!! Watch it!!!!! Did you find this review helpful? It didn't drag like most movies do. The leads all acted their roles well and the firefighter story is my favorite. I like Cha Tae Hyun in here too, made me really sad. March 25, 2006 Ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Going into this movie I had great expectations but this movie turned out to be so bad I wanted to quit many times before it finally ended. Although it was 40-episode long, I didn't feel bored at any minute. I just kept on watching and enjoying it at the same time. The cast was wonderful and the acting skills of the 4 main leads were superb! Wallace and Penny was a great couple, no doubt. And how Deric changed from a bad guy and redeemed himself at the end because of love was convincing as well. My favorite character in this drama is Chen Qiao En. She's so pretty and funny. I watched her for the first time in "Prince turns into a Frog" and felt she was just okay. But in here she was totally awesome!!! So cute!! And the scenes between her and Deric were very enjoyable too. It was very slow in the beginning that I almost stopped watching. The girl (Sung Yu Ri) was not that pretty and special to have the 2 brothers fell head over heals for her. Not too convincing to me there. And they really didn't show how Cha Tae Hyun fell so madly in love with Sung Yu Ri and how at the end the Yu Ri suddenly fell in love with CTH instead of choosing the older brother(Kim Nam Jin) whom she loved throughout the first 3/4 of the show. That left me quite puzzled. The chemistry between the 3 leads are quite weak in this show. I'm afraid to say Kim Nam Jin I do not found handsome at all and his acting was quite stiff. CTH was pretty good and charming playing his "royal prince", a bit exaggrating in his acting at times that one might find annoying. The parents' love story was strange, kinda boring actually. The father was so mean to CTH in the beginning and even more so after he found out KNJ was his son and favored him. However I must say the scenery in this drama was awesome. It makes you want to go to places like Bali and Tahiti. The ending was ok, kinda feel sorry for Kim Nam Jin--father died, girlfriend left him for his brother, and CTH still hostile towards him and didn't recognized him as his elder brother. December 4, 2005 Very Disappointing..........I just finished watching Love Letter and found it to be very boring and confusing at times. I heard so many good things about this drama before I actually watched it so I had very expectations of the drama. However the story was week and sometimes annoying. The three main leads were pretty good however. This drama doesn't even compare to other great Korean Dramas like MISA, Full House, Damo, Winter Sonata, STH etc. Very disappointed indeed. The story all fit in together and the actors and actresses gave an excellent performance. You can feel the love, pain, hardship, betrayal and ultimate friendship and loyalty that the characters experienced in the drama. Not to mention the actors are HOT!!! Dylan looked more handsome in Outsiders II than in I in my opinion and Alan Luo was very good-looking and sweet as well. This drama(both I&II)has to be one of my very favorites!!! October 23, 2005 Great soundtrack and great drama!I love this soundtrack! It reminds me of the different scenes of the seires. This drama is very good and I like it a lot. I like Alec So, Peter Ho, Chae Rim in there and they all did their parts very well. Not to menion the 2 male leads are so handsome and Chae Rim is so beautiful. Too bad it has a tragic ending.....I like how Peter loved Chae Rim so much and didn't ask anything in return....I would recommend this drama series and soundtrack to anyone, espcially if you like sad love story..... It has to be one of my very favorites out of all the Chinese, Japense and Korean series I've watched (tons and tons). Wallace Huo is the most gorgeous man in the world! I just love how he looks in this drama. I feel bad that Sky and him didn't end up together after all the sacrifices he'd made for her.....nonetheless this drama is a must-watch!!! I was longing for the end to come. The main actor did a good job portraying Ko-Bok-Su, however. There is no chemistry between Bok-Su and Lee Na Young. August 16, 2005 It's a okay seriesI just finished watching this drama and I must admit I was quite disappointed at it. The main actress tried way too hard to be cute and it was annoying to watch her, but the 2 main actors portrayed their roles well.
