TOKIO's Matsuoka Masahiro returns to theater for the rock comedy Jail Breakers. Staged in Tokyo and Osaka in October 2006, Jail Breakers is created and directed by popular theater director G2. Co-starring Sudo Risa, Shinohara Tomoe, and Masahiko Kawahra, this dynamic play brings life, music, and friendship to the stage with a mix of raucous laughter and heartfelt drama.
Mistakenly blamed for the death of his friend, Ginpei (Matsuoka Masahiro) is sentenced to 15 years in prison. During his time in prison, his friend's final words keep running through his head. Ginpei decides that he must uncover the secret behind his friend's death. He forms a rock band with four cellmates with the intentions of escaping during the prison's music competition.
