Jerry has made every effort to ensure that his album suits the taste of his fans. He has paid excruciating detail to all aspects of production, from working on his vocal range to writing lyrics and taking piano lessons, not to mention turning down film projects to ensure that he could pay full attention to this project. In his obsession he was willing to sing a single line featured in the song One Meter over 50 times, before he was finally given the go ahead by his producer.
The album consists mainly of ballads and exposes Jerry's reflections on love, loss and friendship. Two other songs featured in a new Taiwanese television drama prove that Jerry's voice has matured significantly and that his emotional range has further increased. Finally~~

(I should have written a long time ago..but forgot..) This is the solo album of Jerry Yan, member of Taiwanese group F4, also fameous from Taiwanese version of Meteor Garden (aka. Hana Yori Dango). Jerry has always been my fave F4, but the again we ca discuss how great or say how well he actually can sing. He gets better and better each year and this one shows that he is trying. There are 10 songs, some that we have heard before, from dramas etc, and some "new". Jerry is more a ballad guy more than a rap/up-tempo kinda guy. It is def. a good album and I'm looking forward to his new one, which is going to be released in 2009. This version also comes with a vcd with MV's from various songs, which was one of the reasons why I got it~ Also lots of photos of Jerry in the photobooklet which comes with it as well, and a photo. This is Jerry for you, and he is going to give us more soon!! we just have to wait! |

buy already this one day version. then buy already the night version and the last version that come with calendar. jerry yan is best. his singing improve better. he sing better than his f4 mates. |

Nice MVs

"Jerry For You - MV All Record" - the music videos are very nicely done. The songs are great. There are slow songs and a couple of medium tempo catchy tunes. In the music videos, there are a lot of nice close up shots of Jerry. He looks so sweet and gentle when he smiling. If those who did not get his CD, but want to sample his music, this DVD is good to get because you will get to see and listen to Jerry. |

Jerry Yan's singing skills has greatly improved since his beginning days with F4. Now, he sings with more range. Before he used to sing with just one monotonous range, it sounded cute, but he had needed improvement. And this solo CD album proves that he has improved and matured in his singing. There are 2 fast fun catchy tracks: "I Want It Now" and "Fantasy". His English is quite sexy sounding. The rest of the tracks are slow songs, in which Jerry sings with deep feeling. And the VCD with the music videos are nice. I had gotten the copy that came with a calendar that has very nice photos of Jerry. It is said that Jerry and Sony Music spent a few years working on this album and it is really worth the wait. Because they produced an amazingly wonderful solo debut Jerry Yan CD album. |
