The heat is on with Joey Yung and the Grasshoppers! Hong Kong's Canto-pop diva teamed up with the trio consisting of brothers Remus and Calvin Choy and Edmond So for a fun-filled night of electrifying songs and daring performances at the AsiaWorld-Expo on August 11. Joey's repertoire covered such songs as "Love You Eternally" (Track 3) and "Disillusionment Park" (Track 24), as well as her trademark hit "Getting Stronger with Each Song" as part of the Closing Medley. As for the boys, Remus offered his version of Dress You Up and Calvin sang "Cold Wind on A Summer's Day" (Track 14). All three members performed songs like "Used to Heartbreak" (Track 8), "Don't Know Yet" (Track 6), and "We" (Track 10). Other highlights include Joey's duet "Looking at the Stars" (Track 20) with Edmond, "Love Is More Important Than Me" (Track 23) by Remus, and Joey's brand new up-tempo song "Escape" (Track 5).

I just received this DVD and Im loving it. Joey look so so gorgeous and sings so SWEET!!!
This DVD definitely worth every penny.

This show really reminded me how talented the members of Grasshopper are.

I completely disagree with the previous reviewer. I've never considered Joey to have outstanding vocals, well, I never considered her to even have decent vocals (learn to control your breathing Joey so you don't gasp for air every line), but her cover of "You Are Everything" is done well, mostly due to the arrangement, and I doubt she had anything to do with that.

Grasshopper, on the other hand, did an amazing job in covering Joey's songs - I really enjoyed their performances of "Don't Know Yet" and "Joyful Release". Their harmonies are excellent. Their new song, "We", is also one of the highlights for me on this disc.

Overall, decent, but not great. Song selection was average in terms of the Grasshopper's solo songs. Worth a listen or two, but this won't be something I play very often.

Joey sang really great especially grasshoppers' songs. On the other hand, Grasshoppers did only OK on Joey's songs. But overall, the cd is good. I recommend buying the dvd more so you could see the story line and the dances.
