YesAsia Editorial Description

L'Arc-en-Ciel have got the romantic touch!

Jojoshi presents the latest hit of one of the most colorful and creative bands in today's J-pop. Unlike their first two '05 singles, Killing Me and New World, this tune sees the boys drifting into a milieu of mellower sounds, offering you their first ballad since their March 2003 hit Hitomi no Jyunin. Full of romantic emotions beautifully complemented by hyde's stunning vocals, Jojoshi promises to turn into yet another winner for L'Arc-en-Ciel!

By the way, P'UNK~EN~CIEL also gets another go on this release, this time they rock the world with HEAVEN'S DRIVE 2005!

Another beautiful slow song Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
I love L'arc-en-Ciel's slow songs. Hyde always sings them with great passion. And I love how he hits the high notes. I saw L'arc-en-Ciel perform this song on some music programs and it is amazing.

The last part of the song goes like this:

kisetsu ha iro wo kaete ikudo megurou to mo
kono kimochi ha karenai hana no you ni
yume nara yume no mama de kamawanai
aisuru kagayaki ni afure mune wo someru
itsumademo kimi wo omoi

The love to you is alive me. wo- every day for love.
You are aside of me wo- every day

Great, but C/Ws poor Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
I thought Jojoshi was a great song... the lyrics are delicate and the melody is very beautiful, especially in the beginning where it's just Hyde with a Clarinet singing. But the P'UNK version of Heaven's Drive was rather poorly done.
Let's hope the P'UNK versions start getting better :-\
The casing is beautiful and original, meant to mimic the case of a cassette tape with the clear cover and folded over booklet.

Jyojyoshi in a Word: Beautiful Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Ah yes, L'arc is back this time with a ballad. At first listen, Jyojyoshi is a little bland but it grew on me amazingly quickly. I realise that as it is with Hitomi no Jyunin, L'arc ballads tend to latch onto you and grow and grow. The chorus, especially, is beautifully catchy and I love the way Hyde uses his voice like a force throughout the entire song, alternating through the notes with great emotion. Most of all, the song is shiny and marks a return to form for L'arc. The song itself is lovely, meandering through a variety of emotions and expressed in a beautiful dark and grandiose way.

Better With Age Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
Hyde's solo projects definately paid off. You will not hear his voice more confident and controlled, especially in his signiture falsetto. I'm very proud of the group for being so dynamic. We've heard a lot of fast paced pop and rock from them, but here is a fabulous, sophisticated ballad. Very "artistic" (especially if you've seen the video). Laruku just keeps getting better and better. I don't think this is a new direction, just another honey pot they've dipped their hands into. "Jojoshi" is highly recommended.

Not the best Customer Review Rated Bad 5 - 5 out of 10
To be honest i think this song doesnt do L'arc justice. Hydes vocals dont show off his amazing voice, it was so nasal i thought it was Tetsu during Jojoshi. The Punkenciel songs were not bad... a little wierd tho. I think they could have done alot better if they spend more time on these singles. I love larc... from vivid colors to now but i just worry about the future of their music. I cnat wait for the new album im obsessed with killingme and i hope they will redeem themselves. btw im obsessed with Larc and i love them and all of their music i just hope they dont continue this way
