SNOOORRRRREEE.......
| This movie was so boring...i dont see why they made a english version of this movie. its way too slow and confusing. The ending made no sense and there was no "O MY GOD!" moment... in all i would not want to see it again...there are a few nifty moments but in all i would pass on this and watch One Missed Call... |

For the horror movie buff and the fanatics alike~!

Wow! Awesome movie! It's not the best horror film out there, but I am a firm believer that the Japanese make very, very good horror films! The movie "Ju-On" Did itself justice. A quick glance at the cover of the movie would send some people underneath the covers :) It has it's ups and downs. Some of the upsides of the movie ... well, It's just too darn scary! Prepare to have some temporary fears of... everything, from little boys to televisions, to some kinds of elevators to even some home appliances. My own personal gripe of the film well...Mr. Shimizu could have explained the story a little bit better. The movie is divided up in several chapters as they are sorted by the names of the characters depicting their story. It's a movie that must be watched atleast two times to come closer to actually understanding the whole movie. My reccomendations? Be sure to take Mr. Shimizu's The Grudge here in the USA. It kinda gives a better insight of what happened to the 'Saeki' family. |

no point
| I just saw the english version at the theatres last night, and I thought there was no point to the story. it was kinda stupid in a way, everyone in the theatre laughed at the parts that were suppose to be scary.. |

Don't buy a house in japan
| I have seen hundreds of horror movies and not even the "sacred" Exorcist can compare to Ju-on. You are not safe hiding under the covers anymore. This movie will have you looking over your shoulder wondering whats hiding in the shadows. Be prepaired to pay a higher electic bill for the closet light. |

hmmm soo saddddd
| when i saw the trailer i thot hmmm this movie looks interesting but boi was i wrong. this movie is anything BUT scary!!! tho they do have some interesting elements and scenes but they were NOT scary at all!!! you could even see the poor eye-liner on the ghost boi!!! soo freakin lame. and to make matters even worst, i didnt get the ending and i showed to my friends during my Halloween get-together. NOBODY got it either. Dispite my dissapointment, i am still gonna watch the American version because i remember how much better the American Ring was compare to Ringu. |

I was never so damn scared in my whole life!! I was screaming like mad, i was actually hoarse afterwards...The horrorscenes: Awesome, briliant and shocking!! well, I didn't understand a single word of the plot but that was 1.absolutely unimportant and 2.because I hadn't watch the first Movie. And i think, that the Make-up was great...it looked natural and realistic and not that exaggerated like in Alien or other Monsterfilms. But my biggest Problem afterwards was to find out that this House in the Movie REALLY EXISTS!! those who thought that it was "boring", could you tell me better and more shocking Movies than this one? |

Errrr.... no.
| Sorry, but every other reviewer of this movie certainly haven't seen any real scary movies. This movie is so not scary. The whole movie is so bright, BRIGHT! You can see everything. No mystery about the "ghosts". Also very lame on how everyone seems to eat the floor when they see a "ghost". And the movie should be called GASP!:Now rub the floor! Since just about half the time they GASP each time the scary sounds come on or they see the "ghost" and then they hit the floor like they're on fire, or they just get very tired so quickly. And the actual "ghosts". They all look like they're all crying for help on how to put make-up on, and their facial expressions are "Oh my! My stomach really hurts, it really does!" Oh yea, the little boy has been missing for 5 years, and at the time he was missing, he was 6. So he should be 11 years old (if he were alive. A teacher in the modern time (now) has that boy as a student... who never showed up once to class... and she visits his house. Well, another "bright" side to this movie are all the girls. They are all so very cute. The reason I watched this movie till the end. Well, such a great movie. Enjoy! |
