キテとチョルスはソウルの娼婦街をねぐらとするチンピラ。いつかは裏社会のカオになってクールにきめたいという漠然とした夢はあるものの、今はその日暮らしの毎日だ。ある日、暴力団員のミンチョルに声をかけられ麻薬取引を手伝うことになるが、取引は失敗。麻薬は奪われるは、ミンチョルは逮捕されるはとポカばかり。挙句の果てに、ブツを取り戻すか、さもなくば代金の2000万ウォンを用意しろ、とボスに脅され四面楚歌となる。そんな折、ひょんなことから大量の麻薬を手に入れた2人は、それを売りさばこうと、売春婦のメグと一緒に釜山へと逃走するが…。
麻薬をめぐって、裏組織と警察の双方から追われる羽目に陥ってしまうチンピラたちを描いた、ポップでコミカルな青春ロード・ストーリー。タイトルの「ジャングル・ジュース」とは、幻覚剤を意味する俗語。文字通り、禁断の薬をめぐって裏街道の危険地帯へと踏み込んでしまう青年たちの姿を描いた衝撃作だ。出演は、「僕の彼女を紹介します」「火山高」のチャン・ヒョク、「バンジージャンプする」のイ・ボムス、「T.R.Y」のソン・チャンミン、他。また、監督のチョ・ミノは、本作品で監督デビューを果たした。韓流シネマ・フェスティバル2005上映作品。

This is really not that bad. It isn't meant to be taken seriously at all. Jang Hyuck is hilarious, and Lee Bum Soo is like a little anime character. There are so many elements of cheese, but this is what the film is meant to be.

Sure the plot line isn't the most original, but it's complex enough to keep it interesting, and the two leads are hillarious. Extream violence make this movie hard for the squeemish, but the uncut shot of the police/mob brawl was one of the funniest and interesting fight scenes I have ever seen. Ontop of this, i picked up a few pointers on how to perform the wind mill.

Hey,i've also seen the drama "joyful girl" and it was great,my friends and i all think that Jang Hyuk was exactly the type that we r dreaming of :) so i think this movie's also worthy watching :)

i love this video...after i saw the drama, "Joyful Girl", and thought that Jang Hyuk was soooooo cute, i decided to buy some more of his movies...and so i bought Jungle Juice...i saw it...and it was Hilarious...just laughing your head off...wonderful...recommended....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As a Korean person I may have a tendency to give higher marks to Korean movies than it deserves. But this movie was really bad. I cannot bring myself to give anything other than the worst score for this movie. Not funny.
