December 23, 2005 great action sequencesthe film starts quite fast paced, theeres a great villian init, who gets to fight sammo on two main occassions, the final is in a whearhouse, dark and gritty, with sammo producing some fast hand techniques, and also fights with a stick and a sword. showing he can still move, and trust me he can.
great action scenes, few people in the movie go that you dont think would. great film, and also the version i have has 30mins of the making.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
A Kid From Tibet (Universe Version)
December 21, 2005 great biao movieit is a great yuen biao film, filled with great fights, and good comedy.
yuen biao has a great duel with yuen wah, michelle reis is lovely, and the acting and comedy is spot on.
only downer to this vcd is that the chinese dubbing isnt yuen biaos voice. other than that its a great film one you need to see as a biao fan.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

September 21, 2005 best biao movie for his kung fuwell what a movie this is.
sammo hung really does know how to get the best out of yuen biao.
biaos skills in this to me has been untouched in any movie. his fighting is fantastic, loads of flips and high kicks, shows monkey kung fu which is hard to do.
sammo fights very well also, also starring leung kar yan, lee hoi san, lau kar wing.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

The Champions (VCD) (Hong Kong Version)
September 21, 2005 shaolin soccer nothing to the original.back in 1982 yuen biao starred in this gem of a film.
he plays a soccer fan but didnt realise just how good he would turn out to be.
he bangs into the soccer star played dick wei, then later on gets picked to play for his team, but wei doesnt like him and ends up wanting him killed.
some great football, the end match shows biao score a cracking goal.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
On The Run (VCD) (Hong Kong Version)
September 21, 2005 biaos best acting.biao pulls of some great acting skills in this film which has been underrated.
biao plays a guy haunted by his wifes death, as he gets nearer to the truth, the more trouble he gets in.
yuen wah also in the film, some great stunts, not alot of fights but the end brutel fight will make you rewind to watch again.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

The Musical Vampire
September 21, 2005 good funwell ive seen a fair few lam ching ying vampire movies, and some havent been great but i did enjoy this one.
he doesnt appear until about 35minutes into it, but when he does he pretends to be a vampire to kill one its funny.
he uses everything to kill it but nothing works until the end of course.
not as good as mr vampire or the ultimate vampire but good enough.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

Wong Fei Hung : Once Upon A Time In China
July 15, 2005 not enough of great characterthis movie wouldve been a master piece if the fight choreographers wouldve gave yuen biao a proper fighting role, biao wouldve outclassed jet li but when biao got a chance to shine, the fights were to quick. pitty because the film lacks great fights Did you find this review helpful?
