Charismatic actor Francis Ng, Best Actor winner at the Golden Horse Awards for The Mission, returns with a new movie that organically blends thriller and comedy together. According to Mainland Chinese director Wang Guangli, this latest production of his can be regarded as an "urban fable" showcasing different facets of urban mentality. Francis Ng stars as mechanic suffering from bad luck. A talented actor to be reckoned with, he brings to live a pathetic urban dweller who seems to be more ill-fated than anyone else in the city. Cherrie Ying (Himalaya Singh) also spices up the film with her charming beauty.

Francis Ng plays an impotent mechanic who is in bad terms with his wife (Liang Jing). He comes across a self-proclaimed fortuneteller (Mainland Chinese TV host Liu Yiwei) who prophesizes that he will have bad luck unless he get rid of those hurting his fortune. This naive mechanic then crashes his car and meets a hot girl in the accident, and then he blows up his boss's (Paul Chun) vehicle, and then he is forced to pay for the his boss' losses, and then he suspects his wife having an affairs... With all these misfortunes, will he follow the fortuneteller's advice and kill all those who cause him bad luck?

　　吳宇川（吳鎮宇飾）是個汽修工人，因為陽痿，跟妻子賴玲（梁靜飾）的關係處於崩潰的邊緣。有一天，他遇上了算命先生劉老師（劉儀偉飾）劉老師告訴他要大禍臨頭了。

　　吳宇川先是出車禍撞到了佳佳（應采兒飾），自己也扭到了脖子；然後在他幫香港老板秦龍生（秦沛飾）改裝走私汽車的時候，又不小心把汽車引爆了；接著他又懷疑老婆紅杏出牆……不斷的遭受打擊讓吳宇川開始相信劉老師的話。

　　究竟誰才是吳宇川身邊的小人，懦弱的他又能否真的去殺人呢？在劉老師預言的驅使下，命運的輪盤從賴玲、尹志斌、秦龍生、佳佳身上一一滾過……

　　這是一部凝結了懸疑、黑色幽默、情景喜劇、無厘頭等諸多商業元素的電影，同時也是城市電影的一個異類，從第一個鏡頭到最後一個鏡頭，從開始到結束，影片都是開放性的，每個情節，每個段落觀眾都可以從自己的角度去觀察、理解、審視，並從中找到自己熟悉的符號。不願意動腦筋只圖哈哈一樂的觀眾可以在走出影院的時候，不會覺得自己買票的錢白花了，而願意從中得到一些人生思考的觀眾，則會認識到所謂和命運相關的猜忌、巧合、輪迴由淺到深居然有好幾個層面。優秀的電影可以讓悲者看到悲，喜者看到喜。

　　Francis Ng (THE MISSION) and Cherrie Yin (THROWDOWN) give compelling performances in this thriller drama about superstition. Chen (Ng) is a simple man who seems to be cursed with bad luck all the time. Convinced by a blind fortune teller that he must eliminate the "villain" that is bringing him the ills, Chen vows to kill the person responsible for his misfortunes. But he soon has second thoughts when he suspect that the "villain" is none other than his own wife.
