Another gem from Rimi!

With "Kaze no michi", Natsukawa Rimi took her music in some interesting new directions, while retaining the heart and soul of her trademark style. Tracks 2 through 5 form the vital core of this album; turn them up, lay back, and enjoy these sublime melodies! But there are lots of other wonders to enjoy on this disk. The percussion-heavy track 8 is an utterly unique meeting of Okinawan and Scottish folk musics in a catchy, up-tempo pop tune. Track 10 leaves you breathless; it should start with an announcement: "Now entering Rimi's world!" I hope you have a good sound system to capture all of the sonic brilliance of this timeless track. Track 11 caps the album off with yet another lovely melody. Miss Natsukawa's music always makes me think of warm southern breezes in the dying light of another beautiful day on the Okinawan beach. Very highly recommended for all fans of rich melodies and soulful singing. |

| This is one of her best albums yet!She may not look all that pretty,but her voice definitely makes up for that.Her songs are absolutely soothing,melodious and beautiful!I hope more people listen to her~ The songs in this album tend to start in a traditional way and end up in an upbeat and catchy,awesome tune!I would surely recommend Rimi to more people! =D |
