August 27, 2007 Beyond my expectations!Utada Hikaru Unplugged DVD is a December 2006 reissue of its 2001 original release to support the release of Utada United DVD. This is now out of print (as of the date this review was written) but I was lucky to find it on yesasia.com!
Performed live mostly with acoustic instruments, songs in the DVD are better than the studio versions. The result of the acoustic setup is outstanding! Addicted To You, Parody, and Kettobase! became more interesting. Utada Hikaru's cover of U2's With or Without You was captivating.
