Sweet voice

I first watched the music video of Track 02 of Disc Two on TV and I really loved it. Then when I was in a store with my friend, I heard it again, and it was playing over and over in my head. It took me a while to track down the song, but once I did, I just had to listen to more. Kim Jong-Wook sings almost all ballads, which really suits his voice, particularly in songs which the huskiness of his voice is more pronounced. His voice is alluring and very soothing to listen to and this album is great if you're looking for something more on the quiet side and it's a great effort from a new artist. |

Kim Jong Wook- Great!!
| I bought Kim Jong Wook's Album before, but i decided to buy this one because of the additional tracks. His previous album had 12 tracks and this album consisted of the 12 tracks from before plus a few more additional tracks. I heard it was because of some management issues and that is why the previous album can no longer be found on yesasia. Kim Jong Wook has a soothing and strong vocals thats pleasant to the ears! I don't regret buying this album again although i already have most of the songs. All ballad lovers out there, this is a must buy! |

Excellent!....................

I'm really happy to write a review for this new singer! I lost his first CD, First Album before I even had a chance to listen to it. I did not give up on him because I remembered the cover distinctly. I bought another copy and it turned out to be an excellent decision. This CD package has about 10 of the 12 original tracks in the first album which is not currently being offered by Yesasia.com. Kim Jong Wook has wonderful voice and excellent singing skills. His voice is mid range, somewhere between Eru and Tim. I find his voice to be most attractive when he sings in lower range. He can hit the higher notes very well too. His genre is diverse as he can sing ballads, r&b and pops. He is a really talented singer. However, I have an impression that the record company is trying to push this package and I think that Tracks 14 and 17 need improvement. Kim Jong Wook has been really lucky to have some excellent composers who wrote for him in Track 18 and Track 16 with its Latin flavor and jazzy beats. Track 7 is a heart wrenching ballad which you can appreciate his magnetic voice. Also, the orchestral accompaniment in the CD is excellent. My other 5 stars tracks are:4,8,9,13&17. If he keeps up his hard works and further refines his singing skills, I think that he is going to be a major singer in the industry. So, give him a try. He is highly recommended ! |
