Peter Jackson's epic re-working of the 1933 classic King Kong comes to DVD in a gorgeous double disc set. Filmmaker Carl Denham (Jack Black, School Of Rock) leads the cast and crew of his new movie on a secret voyage to the mysterious Skull Island to film his new motion picture. Once there, however, they discover that the island is home to a tribe of vicious natives guarding the gateway to a land that time forgot. The natives kidnap Denham's leading lady, Ann Darrow (Naomi Watts, 21 Grams) and offer her up as a sacrifice to their god, a gigantic ape - Kong! Denham and his crew must brave the savage jungles of Skull Island, filled with vicious dinosaurs and fantastical creatures if they are to rescue Ann from her simian captor. But then Denham strikes upon a plan to capture Kong and take him back to civilization.
Filled to bursting point with danger, excitement, drama and a very special romance, King Kong is everything one could wish for from a movie and a roller coaster ride in the truest sense of the word.
