Sheren Teng delivers a signature performance as the strong Hong Kong woman who takes each day like war and never shows her weak side to the outside world. Melissa Ng and Raymond Lam had viewers rooting for them as the older woman and younger man who defy odds to be together, while Kate Tsui and Kenneth Ma banter and bicker as the drama's youthful pair. Timid wife Ling (Melissa Ng) has to learn to stand on her own when she discovers her husband Man (Michael Tse) is actually a shameless cheater. As the world falls down around her, Ling finds an unlikely savior in power executive Hilda (Sheren Teng), a sharp-tongued no-nonsense businesswoman who gives Ling a job and takes her under her wing. Hilda grooms soft-hearted Ling for the tough world of business battles and office politics, but she could use some guidance herself when it comes to people skills and her rocky relations with her willful younger sister (Kate Tsui). When Hilda decides she wants a baby but not a man, Ling's ex-husband Man unexpectedly becomes a candidate for her baby's father. Ling meanwhile finds romance again with her younger colleague Siu Chai (Raymond Lam), but will it be happily ever after this time?
