　　《好事成雙》是文藝片聖手導演易文繼愛情喜劇《溫柔鄉》之後，另一齣輕鬆風趣的錯模愛情小品。「學生情人」林翠和「銀壇靚女」白露明美麗可人，使得戇戇的喬宏與田青神魂飄蕩，拜倒石榴裙下。本來兩女芳心暗許，怎料兩男一直搞錯對象追錯女仔，還懵然不知。幸而林翠和白露明不僅外貌養眼，她們的腦袋更不可小覷，撥亂反正，把喬宏和田青手到擒來。本片星光熠熠，除雙生雙旦主演外，還有王萊，蔣光超、劉恩甲、高翔、高原、陳又新、梁醒波等好戲之人合力助陣；特別值得留意飾演白露明弟弟的頑皮小子嚴偉，乃多年後光芒四射之姜大衛是也。
　　A hilarious entanglement of romance among Jeanette Lin Cui, Roy Chiao, Christine Pai Lu-ming and Tien Ching, Ladies First is another light-hearted comedy directed by renowned melodrama specialist Yi Wen, following Bachelors Beware co-starring Linda Lin Dai and Chang Yang. With a strong line-up of veterans such as Wang Lai, Chiang Kwang-chao, Liu En-chia, Kao Hsiang, Kao Yuan, Chen Yu-hsin and Leung Sing-po, Yi Wen once again demonstrates his unique sense of humor reflecting his personal insights of romance. Also noteworthy is the naughty younger brother of Christine, the to-be superstar David Chiang, then known as Yan Wei.

A slight romantic comedy Customer Review Rated Bad 7 - 7 out of 10
All four of the young leads in this film give thoroughly charming performances in this light-hearted comedy. They are the reason to watch. Unfortunately, the premise of "Ladies First" gets tired long before the film ends and the movie's resolution is stunningly manipulative and improbable.

I can recommend this film because its four young stars are so good, but don't expect more than an amusing diversion.
