I've wanted one of these for a while, i know its quite a fair bit of cash, but seriously it is well worth it if you love Laputa: Castle in the Sky as much as i do (and that's a lot). First off, the box is simply gorgeous - sporting the Laputa crest on the front in gold and the name 'Laputa: Castle in the Sky' written in raised letters. Open up the box, it gets better. The robot is 'cushioned' in the box with green satin material (or something like satin), and is held in place by the customary wires you get in all boxes holding figures etc. Though the wires are hardly noticeable if you want to keep it in the box (as i have). The signed certificate of authentication is pretty much self-explanatory (signatures from Toshio Suzuki and Hayao Miyazaki!!!), comes in an envelope to avoid damage, and you can mount it on the inside of the box. The stand is attached safely and discreetly behind the robot with instructions to put it all together (there's a picture if you can't read Japanese), and there is a brass plate with 'Laputa' written on it next to the robot, nicely set in the satin. The robot itself is a work of art, brilliantly detailed and is poseable. I don't know how it looks on the stand, as i intend on keeping mine in the box. Looking at the picture provided with the item description though, it looks pretty awesome. A lot of effort has been put into the robot and indeed the whole package. Laputa: Castle in the Sky is one of my favourite films, and most definitely my favourite Ghibli film. Such a collectable as this is a rare treasure, it's not often things like this are released. I have never seen its equal, its does great justice to the film. Simply magnificent and a must-have for Ghibli enthusiasts. |

| Laputa Castle in the Sky Robot Trooper DX figurine is a collectible item but it cost kind of a bit expensive. look at the details of the figurine. nice. going to have to put this on the wish list. don't know when can buy this. |
